Your Move-In Guide
Congratulations and welcome to CRES! Use this guide to prepare for move-in and know what to expect.
1. Arrange and verify your utilities
The utilities you are responsible for depend on your property. Ask your leasing agent which services you need. Utility Profit can help you arrange service, or you can contact providers yourself. Either way, you must verify your utilities through the Utility Profit system before move-in.
Utility questions? Text (737) 377-1570.
2. Pay your move-in balance
Your full security deposit and first month of rent must be paid and cleared before you receive keys or take possession. ACH and card payments may take several business days to clear, so please allow enough time before your move-in day.
Pay through the RMResident phone app or visit cresproperties.com and select the blue Login button at the top right. You may also pay by money order or cashier's check. Ask your leasing agent for delivery and payee instructions.
3. Make a plan for your keys
Your leasing agent will discuss your move-in day arrangements with you. We will either meet you at the property with your keys or provide a lockbox code so you can access them yourself. All required payments must have cleared before keys or possession are provided.
4. Complete your move-in paperwork
Within 7 days of move-in, please complete your Resident Info sheet and Move In Report. Ask your leasing agent if you need help obtaining or returning either form.
Consider renters insurance
Renters insurance is not required, but we strongly recommend it.
